Questa foto dell'ammasso M11 nello Scudo è stata scattata il 16 giugno 2007 dal Monte Labro (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Takahashi FS60 (60 mm F:6.2) su montatura EQ6 con Vixen Skysensor 2000PC. L'esposizione è la somma di solo 5 frames da 10 minuti ciascuno ripresi con la Canon EOS300D settata a 400 ISO e modificata con Filtro Baader IR-Cut, ed è stata effettuata con autoguida SBIG ST-4 e  rifrattore 102/500 in parallelo. Successivamente i frames sono stati allineati con Registar, sommati con Maxim DL e processati mediante applicazione di uno stretching, maschera sfocata, bilanciamento dei colori e riduzione del rumore. This photo of the open cluster M 11 in Scutum was taken on june 16, 2007 from the Labro Mount, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Takahashi FS60C telescope (60 mm F:6.2) using a Syntha Eq6 mount with Vixen Skysensor 2000 PC. The photo is the sum of only 5 frames of 10 minutes taken using a Canon Eos 300D Digital Rebel camera, modified with a Baader IR-Cut filter, at 400 ISO and they were taken with a SBIG ST-4 autoguide on a small refractor 102/500. Then I stacked the frames with Registar, summed them with Maxim Dl, and processed the file with a stretching, an unsharp mask, a color balance and, last, a noise reduction.
