Ammasso globulare in Ercole (M13 - NGC 6205) Globular cluster in Hercules (M13 - NGC 6205) A.R. 16h41m42s - Decl.  36°28'00"

Questa foto del grande ammasso globulare in Ercole è stata scattata il 11 maggio 2007 dal Monte Amiata (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Vixen R200SS (200 mm F:4) su montatura EQ6. L'esposizione è la somma di 8 frames da 10 minuti ciascuno e di 15 da 1 minuto ripresi con la Canon EOS300D settata a 400 ISO e modificata con Filtro Baader IR-Cut, ed è stata effettuata con autoguida SBIG ST-4 e  rifrattore 102/500 in parallelo. Successivamente i frames sono stati allineati con Registar, sommati con Maxim DL e processati mediante applicazione di uno stretching, maschera sfocata, bilanciamento dei colori e riduzione del rumore. This photo of the big globular cluster M 13 in Hercules was taken on may 11, 2007 from the Amiata Mount, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Vixen R200SS telescope (200 mm F:4) using a Syntha Eq6 mount. The photo is the sum of 8 frames of 10 minutes plus 14 frames of 1 minute, taken using a Canon Eos 300D Digital Rebel camera, modified with a Baader IR-Cut filter, at 400 ISO and they were taken with a SBIG ST-4 autoguide on a small refractor 102/500. Then I stacked the frames with Registar, summed them with Maxim Dl, and processed the file with a stretching, an unsharp mask, a color balance and, last, a noise reduction.
