This photo of the open globular cluster NGC 7789 in Cassiopeia, also know as Caroline's Rose cluster or the white rose cluster,  was taken on august 13, 2013 from the backyard of my home in Arcidosso, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Takahashi TOA 130 telescope reduced at f/6 using a Gemini G41 Obs mount..
The photo is the sum of 9 frames, each of 8 minutes, with a Dslr camera Canon Eos 40D Rebel (filter modified), exposed at 800 ISO, taken with a Atik 16IC autoguide on a refractor 100/500
About processing.
I calibrated the frames with Deep Sky Stacker using 35 darks of 8 minutes each, 31 flats, 31 darks of flat, 31 bias.
Then I stacked and summed the resulting frames with Registar. I processed the resulting file with stretching and unsharp mask.
