La Galassia M61 nella Vergine The M61 galaxy in Virgo A.R. 12h22m33s - Decl. +04°24'12"

Questa foto della galassia M61 facente parte dell'ammasso nella Vergine è stata scattata il 20 aprile 2012 da Arcidosso (GR) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Vixen R200SS a f/4 su montatura Avalon M-Uno con elettronica Skyscan. L'esposizione è la somma di 18 frames da 5 minuti ciascuno ripresi con la Canon EOS40D (con filtro IR CUT modificato) settata a 800 ISO, è stata effettuata con autoguida Atik 16IC e  rifrattore 102/500 in parallelo. La calibrazione  è stata fatta con 13 dark, 31 flat, 31 dark dei flat e 31 bias usando il programma Deep Sky Stacker. Successivamente i frames sono stati elaborati con Photoshop mediante applicazione di stretching, maschera sfocata e bilanciamento dei colori con differenti elaborazioni per stelle e galassie. This photo of the M61 galaxy in Virgo was taken on april 20, 2012 from Arcidosso, in Italy, near Grosseto, at the prime focus of a Vixen R200SS telescope at f/4 using a Avalon M-Uno mount with a Skyscan controller. The picture is the sum of 18 frames of 5 minutes each taken with my Canon Eos 40D (IRcut filter modified) at 800 ISO, using an Atik 16IC autoguide on a 102/500 refractor. I calibrate the frame with 13 darks, 31 flat, 31 dark of flat and 31 bias stacking them with Deep Sky Stacker. Then I processed the file in Photoshop with a stretching, an unsharp mask and, last, a color balance with different processing for stars and galaxiees.
