La Cometa 17/P Holmes The 17/P comet (Holmes) centro foto A.R. 03h35m - Decl. +50°35'

Questa foto, scattata il 10 novembre 2007 da Arcidosso (GR) usando una macchina fotografica digitale Canon Eos 20D, è la somma di 19 immagini realizzate con un Telescopio Takahashi FS 60C , f/6.2 a 800 ISO. I tempi di esposizione sono stati di 5 minuti cadauno. Tutte le pose sono state effettuate usando una montatura Gemini G41 Obs con Fs2 e con autoguida Sbig ST4 su un rifrattore da 120 mm f/5 in parallelo. Le foto sono state tutte allineate e sommate con Deep Sky Stacker dopo aver sottratto il dark frame. Successivamente con Photoshop sono state corrette le dominanti. Da ultimo la foto è stata processata mediante applicazione di uno stretching, maschera sfocata e bilanciamento finale dei colori. This photo, taken on november 10, 2007 from Arcidosso, in Italy, near Grosseto, with a Canon Eos 20D Digital camera, is the sum of 19 pictures with a Takahashi FS60C telescope at f/6.2 exposed at 800 ISO. The exposure times were 5 minutes for  each shot. All the shots were taken with a Gemini G41 Obs mount with FS2 controller guided with a Sbig St4 on a refractor 120 mm f/5. I stacked all the photos, subtract the dark and joined them with DeepSkyStacker. Then I processed the file with a stretching, an unsharp mask and, last, a color balance.
