Questa foto del grande ammasso globulare in Ercole è stata scattata il 19 agosto 1993 da Goraiolo (PT) al fuoco diretto di un telescopio Newton 150 mm F:6.7 su montatura Vixen SP-DX. L'esposizione, su pellicola Kodak TP2415 ipersensibilizzata per 15 ore in idrogeno, è stata di 10 minuti con inseguimento effettuato mediante guida fuori asse Lumicon e reticolo illuminato Meade 12 mm. Successivamente la fotografia è stata stampata e scannerizzata, per essere poi processata mediante applicazione di uno stretching e maschera sfocata. This photo of the big globular cluster M 13 in Hercules was taken on august 19 1993 from Goraiolo, in Italy, near Pistoia, at the prime focus of a Newton telescope (150 mm F:6.7) using a Vixen Sp-DX mount. I exposed the hypered film Kodak TP2415 (using hydrogen for 15 hours at 50°C) for 10 minutes with a manual guide using an off-axis guide Lumicon and illuminated reticle eyepiece Meade 12 mm. Then I printed the photo, I scanned it, and I processed the file with a stretching, an unsharp mask.
